  1. Easy Mushroom Stroganoff

  2. 1 Tbsp. butter

  3. 4 large garlic cloves, minced

  4. 1 large yellow onion, chopped

  5. 1 lb. white mushrooms, sliced

  6. 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

  7. 1/2 cup dry white wine

  8. 1 cup sour cream

  9. 8 oz. cooked linguine

  10. Melt butter in a heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add

  11. 30 seconds. Add onion and saute another

  12. 2 minutes

  13. or so. Then add mushrooms and saute until tender, about 10 minutes.

  14. Don't worry if the mixture seems too dry. Reduce heat to medium,

  15. then add flour and stir another minute. Add white wine and cook

  16. until mixture thickens, stirring frequently--about another 2-3

  17. minutes. Mix in sour cream, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add cooked linguine and toss to blend linguine with sauce.

  18. Serves 2.
