  1. 2 teaspoons 10ml Canola oil

  2. 2 oz 56g Coarsely chopped ca. Walnuts

  3. 1 tablespoon 15ml Curry powder

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml All-purpose flour

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground ginger

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground allspice

  7. 1 cup 237ml Low-sodium chicken broth

  8. 5 oz 142g Chicken breast - cubed

  9. (skinless - boneless)

  10. 1 cup 237ml Unsweetened applesauce

  11. 4 oz 113g Aromatic rice

  12. 1/2 cup 118ml Plain nonfat yogurt

  1. In medium nonstick skillet, heat oil. Add next 5 ingredients and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, stirring until smooth. Add chicken and applesauce; cook 3 minutes more.

  2. Add rice and 1 cup water to pan; simmer, covered, 15 minutes; stir 2-3 times, until rice is cooked. Remove from heat; stir in yogurt.
