  1. 1/2 pound sausage

  2. 1 (6 ounce) package uncooked long grain and wild rice

  3. 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can sliced mushrooms

  1. Place sausage in a medium skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir in mushrooms and sausage. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
