  1. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Tomatillos

  2. 1 Garlic clove

  3. 4 Chiles serranos

  4. 1/3 cup 78ml Water

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml White onions - chopped

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Cilantro - chopped

  1. Remove the paper husks from the tomatillos. Rinse thoroughly. Chop coarsely. Add the tomatillos to the blender along with the garlic, chiles, salt and water.

  2. Pulse until the ingredients are chopped finely but not blended. Stir in the onion and coriander. Serve slightly warmed.
