  1. 1 Buttery Pie Crust - (see recipe)

  2. 3 Eggs

  3. 3/4 cup 177ml Low-fat (1%) milk

  4. 1/4 cup 36g / 1 1/3oz Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

  5. 6 Canadian bacon - chopped

  6. 1/4" pieces

  7. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Sliced fresh mushrooms

  8. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Freshly-ground white pepper

  9. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Nutmeg

  10. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Dried thyme

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a deep 9-inch pie plate with pie crust as directed in the recipe.

  2. In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer at medium speed, beat the eggs 1 minute. Stir in the milk, cheese, bacon, mushrooms, pepper, nutmeg, and thyme.

  3. Pour into the prepared pie crust and bake until the top is firm and brown, about 50 minutes.

  4. This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/6 recipe.
