  1. 1 Crushed tomatoes

  2. 1 cup 237ml Tomato puree

  3. 1 cup 237ml Water

  4. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz White onion - chopped (medium)

  5. 1/4 cup 59ml Garlic puree -

  6. 1/2 cup 118ml Oil

  7. 1/4 cup 59ml Vinegar

  8. 4 tablespoons 60ml Dried oregano

  9. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt - or to taste

  10. 4 Jalapeno chiles - crushed

  1. Recipe Instructions * Garlic Puree - peel 8 whole heads of garlic by smashing the cloves with the side of a wide knife, the peel will slip off easily then. Put the peeled garlic in a blender with about 2 cups of water, and puree. Drain, if necessary, and store in a tightly closed glass jar in the refrigerator. Mix all ingredients. Taste and adjust seasoning. Can be served cold or hot.
