  1. 2 teaspoons 10ml Sesame oil

  2. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Halibut or lean fish - steaks, cut into 1 1/4" x

  3. 3/8" strips

  4. 1 Onion - thinly sliced (medium)

  5. 3 Garlic - minced

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Gingerroot - finely chopped

  7. 1 Frozen - asparagus cuts, thawed (10 ounces)

  8. 1 Mushrooms, sliced, drained

  9. 1 Tomato - cut into thin (medium)

  10. 2 tablespoons 30ml Soy sauce

  11. 1 tablespoon 15ml Lemon juice

  1. Cod, pollack and albacore tuna are examples of other lean fish that would be delicious substitutes for the halibut.

  2. Heat oil in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add fish, onion, garlic, gingerroot and asparagus. Stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until fish almost flakes with fork. Carefully stir in remaining ingredients; heat through.

  4. Serve with additional soy sauce if desired.
