  1. Instructions Put breast of veal in a roasting pan with the butter and seasonings. Roast slowly in moderate oven for 45 minutes. While the veal is cooking, boil the beets in salted water for 40 minutes. Peel and slice them. Arrange beets around the veal in the roasting pan. Finish cooking together, about 10 minutes. Then serve.
