    1. 2 c BUTTER OR MARGARINE

    2. 1/2 c SUGAR

    3. 1 ts SALT

    4. 2 ts VANILLA EXTRACT

    5. 4 c ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR

    6. 2 c PECANS

    7. 1/2 c CONFECTIONERS SUGAR

    1. COMBINE BUTTER, SUGAR, SALT, AND VANILLA.

    2. STIR IN FLOUR AND PECANS. Roll into 1 inch balls.

    3. PLACE ON UNGREASED SHEET PANS 2 inches apart.

    4. BAKE AT 350 FOR 8 TO 10 MINUTES. The bottoms will be slightly browned.

    5. ROLL IN CONFECTIONERS SUGAR WHILE STILL WARM. When cooled you can roll in to confectioners sugar again.
