  1. 1 cup sugar

  2. 1 1/2 cups water

  3. 2 cups fresh cranberries

  4. 1/4 cup brandy Vanilla ice cream

  1. Preparation : Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries, and return to a boil, cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Heat brandy in a saucepan over medium heat. (Do not boil.) Ignite and pour over cranberries. After flames die, spoon over ice cream.
