  2. 1/2 cup 118ml Sweet rice vinegar

  3. 3 teaspoons 15ml Sugar - (or sugar substitute)

  4. 2 teaspoons 10ml Dijon mustard

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Salt -

  6. 2 Minced garlic

  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Olive oil

  8. Pepper to taste

  9. Salad Fixin's

  10. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Chopped green onions

  11. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Chopped green - yellow or red

  12. Sweet peppers

  13. 1/2 cup 118ml Lightly steamed and cooled

  14. Green beans or asparagus

  15. 1/2 cup 55g / 1.9oz Chopped carrot

  16. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Chopped zuchini

  17. 3/4 cup 120g / 4 1/5oz Golden raisins -

  18. Substitute

  19. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Or more finely chopped fresh

  20. Basil

  21. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Chopped fresh parsley

  1. Carbs:Use any of the following, depending on how "McDougall-correct" (I've been learning a lot from you Barbara Z!) you want to be.

  2. ounces dry fusilli (or any pasta, whole wheat is fine) boiled 1 cup dry brown rice, cooked (don't know how much it makes cooked) combined with: 1 cup dry couscous (soak for 20 minutes in 1 1/3 cups boiling water) -or, combine with any other grains such as quinoa, barley, or whatever you like ~I think this would also be delicious and nutritious if beans (white, garbanzos, black) were added to the pasta or grains-use your imagination and let me know how it goes!
