  2. Carmel Apple Salad

  7. 1 tablespoon flour

  8. 1/3 cup sugar

  9. 1 each egg

  10. 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  11. 1 8 ounce can crushed pineapple -- drained and juice re

  12. 4 each red delicious apples-unpeeled -- cored and chopped

  13. 1 cup salted peanuts

  14. 1 8 ounce Cool Whip

  15. Mix flour and sugar. Beat egg and add to flour and sugar. Mix well. Add

  16. vinegar and pineapple juice. Cook in a small pan over low heat stirring

  17. until thick. cool completely. (To speed along, I set it in a bowl in the

  18. fridge.) Meanwhile, combine apples, pineapple and peanuts. Pour cooled

  19. dressing over all. Fold in Cool Whip. Chill well. Tastes like a carmel
