  2. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal

  5. 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

  6. 3/4 cup butter or margarine

  7. 3/4 cup raspberry jam

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, quick cooking oatmeal, and brown sugar; blend well. Cut in 3/4 cup butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Remove 1 cup and set aside. Pat the remaining crumb mixture into a 8-inch baking dish. Microwave on HIGH for 4 1/2 to 5 minutes, turning once. Spread raspberry jam on top and sprinkle the reserved oatmeal mixture on top. Microwave on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes, turning once. Cool before cutting into squares.
