  1. 1 Onion - chopped (large)

  2. 1 Garlic - minced

  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Oil

  4. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ground beef

  5. 2 1/2 cups 156g / 5 1/2oz Fresh chopped tomatoes

  6. 6 oz 170g Tomato paste

  7. 1 cup 237ml Water

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Pepper

  10. 1 Bay leaf

  1. Recipe Instructions Saute onion and garlic in the oil until soft. Add meat and cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Cool and place in divided ice cube trays. Freeze until solid. To use: Remove as many cubes as needed for meal and heat over low heat until warmed through. Serve over hot noodles or pasta.
