  1. 2 Cucumbers

  2. 12 Onions (medium)

  3. 4 Green peppers

  4. 2 Carrots (medium)

  5. 1/4 cup 59ml Salt

  6. 6 cups 1188g / 41oz Granulated sugar

  7. 4 cups 948ml Apple cider vinegar

  8. 12 Whole cloves

  9. 1 tablespoon 15ml Mustard seed

  10. 2 tablespoons 30ml Turmeric

  1. Recipe Instructions Grind cucumbers, onions, peppers and carrots together until fine. Stir in salt and let set overnight. Drain well. Mix in remaining ingredients. Place cloves and mustard seed in cloth bags. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for 30 minutes. Remove bag of spices. Spoon into the hot steralized jars and seal. This recipe yields about 12 pints.
