  1. 1lb. Loaf French Bread (cubed)

  2. 1 8 ounce package cream cheese (cubed)

  3. 8 egg s

  4. 2 1/2 c. milk , light cream or half & half

  5. 6 tbsp. melted butter

  6. 1/4 c. maple syrup

  1. Spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange ½ bread cubes in baking dish. Top with cream cheese cubes and remaining bread cubes. Combine next 4 ingredients. Pour Egg mixture evenly over bread and cheese cubes. Press layers down to moisten. Cover with plastic and refrigerate overnight. Remove plastic wrap from baking dish. Try to take this out of the fridge around an hour before you bake it to take the chill off. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until center is set and edges slightly golden. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving with fresh maple syrup.
