  8. 1/4 cup warm water --

  9. 1 cup warm milk --

  10. 110 to 115 degrees

  11. 1/3 cup sugar

  12. 1/2 cup butter or margarine -- softened

  14. 2 eggs

  15. 1/4 cup orange juice

  16. 2 Tablespoons orange peel -- grated

  17. 5 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  18. ORANGE ICING:

  19. 1 cup confectioner's sugar

  20. 2 Tablespoons orange juice

  21. 1 teaspoon orange peel -- grated

  22. 7 ingredients and 3 cups flour; beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured board; knead until smooth, about 6-8 min. Place in a greased

  23. bowl, turning once. Cover and let rise in a warm place until

  25. 16x10 rectangle, about 1/2 thick. Cut into 10x3/4 strips; roll lightly and tie into a knot. Place on greased baking sheets;
