  1. 1-6 oz can tomato paste rinsed

  2. 4 times with cold water to remove all tomato paste residue. (Alternative would be 4 cups tomato juice.)

  3. 1 14 1/2 oz can beef broth

  4. 1/4 C Fresh lemon or lime juice.

  5. 2 T grated horseradish (I use Kraft Prepared Horseradish) Few drops/shakes of a hot pepper sauce.

  6. 1 tsp salt if making with tomato paste, otherwise omit

  1. Combine all in a pitcher. Mix with an immersion blender or wisk until well combined. Serve over ice. Shot of good vodka, celery stick, and some black pepper, works pretty well.
