  1. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Margarine or butter

  2. 1/2 cup 118ml Bacon drippings

  3. 3 tablespoons 45ml Lemon juice

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Worcestershire sauce

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Garlic powder

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Pepper

  8. 2 teaspoons 10ml Chili powder

  9. 2 cups 474ml Water

  1. Recipe Instructions Butter is preferred in this dish for flavor, but you may prefer margarine. In a saucepan, combine margarine, bacon drippings, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat until butter margarine melts. Dissolve chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic powder in water and add to margarine mixture. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
