  1. Potato Chip Cookies

  2. 2-1/2 to 3 dozen cookies

  3. 1 c. butter (no substitute)

  4. 1/4 c. brown sugar

  5. 1/4 c. white sugar

  6. 1 t. vanilla

  7. 1 3/4 c. flour

  8. 1/2 to 2/3 c. crushed potato chips

  9. 1/2 to 2/3 c. chopped pecans and/or walnuts Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add other ingredients. Form into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on un-greased cookie sheet.

  10. Press cookies down with bottom of small glass dipped in powdered

  11. sugar. Place a pecan or walnut piece in center of each cookie. Bake

  12. 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the edges are golden.

  13. For the holiday season, roll the cookie dough in colored sugars

  14. before flattening them. And put a candied or maraschino cherry in

  15. the center of each cookie before baking.
