  4. 1 1/3 cups milk

  5. 3 tablespoons melted butter

  6. 1 egg, well beaten

  7. 3 tablespoons sugar

  1. Instructions Mix and sift dry ingredients together. Gradually add milk, egg, and melted butter. Bake in buttered gem pans for 25 minutes. If iron pans are used they must be previously heated. This recipe makes thirty muffins. Use half the proportions given and a small egg, if half the number is required.
