  1. 1/2 c Raw white sesame seeds

  3. 1 c Flour

  5. 1 tb Baking powder

  6. 2 Bananas

  1. Wine: Wan-fu.

  2. Saute sesame seeds (dry with no oil) to a golden color.

  3. Put in blender and process to a powder-like texture.

  4. Mix with sugar.

  5. (This makes sesame sugar.

  6. ) Mix flour with enough water to make a batter-like consistency; it should not be too thin.

  7. Add baking powder and mix again.

  8. Remove banana peels and slice bananas diagonally about 1-1/2 in.

  10. Roll in cornstarch.

  11. Heat oil to about 300 degrees.

  12. Dip banana pieces into batter, then into hot oil.

  13. Remove when they turn a light golden brown.

  14. Put on a plate and sprinkle with Sesame Sugar.
