  1. 250 milliliter(s) melted butter

  2. 185 milliliter(s) cocoa powder

  3. 5 milliliter(s) vanilla essence

  4. 1 pinch(s) salt

  5. 500 milliliter(s) brown sugar

  6. 4 large eggs

  7. 375 milliliter(s) all purpose flour

  8. 250 milliliter(s) chocolate chips , optional

  9. 250 milliliter(s) slivered/chopped almonds , optional

  1. In a large mixing bowl mix melted margerine and add cocoa powder well and allow to cool. Add vanilla and salt and mix well.

  2. Add the sugar and mix well. Add one egg at a time and mix well between each addition.

  3. Add all purpose flour and mix well. Chocolate chips and/or nuts can be added and mixed through or left out.

  4. Place in large greased ovenproof dish and bake in pre-heated oven at 180'C/350'F for approximately 30-40minutes.

  5. Allow to cool and cut into squares Enjoy on it's own, with cream or ice-cream Store in airtight container(doubt if there will be leftovers to store)
