  2. COCOA-NUT MERINGUE CHEESECAKE

  6. 7 oz (1 pk) Flaked Coconut

  7. 1/4 c Chopped pecans

  8. 3 T Margarine, Melted

  9. 16 oz Cream Cheese, Softened

  10. 1/3 c Sugar

  11. 3 T Cocoa

  12. 2 T Water

  13. 1 t Vanilla

  14. 3 Large Eggs, Separated

  15. Dash salt

  16. 7 oz (1 jr) Marshmallow Creme

  17. 1/2 c Chopped Pecans

  18. Coconut should be flaked and toasted.

  20. Combine coconut, pecans, and margarine, press onto bottom of 9-inch

  21. springform pan.

  22. Combine cream cheese, sugar, cocoa, water and vanilla, mixing at medium

  23. speed on electric mixer until well blended. Blend in egg yolks, pour over

  24. 30 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan,

  25. cool before removing rim of pan.

  26. Beat egg whites and salt until foamy, gradually add marshmallow creme,

  27. beating until stiff peaks form. Sprinkle pecans over cheesecake to within

  28. 1/2-inch of outer edge. Carefully spread marshmallow creme mixture over

  29. 350 degrees F.,
