  1. 5-6 cups fresh berries

  2. 4 TBL flour

  3. 1 cup sugar

  4. 1/2 tsp salt

  5. 2 TBL ( 1/4 stick) butter

  6. 1/4 cup cornstarch Dough for 2 pie crust : FLOUR

  7. 1 1/2 cup SHORTENING

  8. 1/2 C &

  9. 1TB BAKING POWDER

  10. 1/4 tsp COLD WATER

  11. 1/2 cup SALT

  12. 1/4 tsp Cold water is an approximate amount, mix dry ingrediants in food processor add cold water til dough forms.

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Put berries in large mixing bowl. Stir together with flour, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Toss gently to mix. Pile the fruit into a pastry lined pie pan and dot with butter. Moisten edges of the bottom crust with water. Put on top crust. Trip all around and crimp edges. Cut several vents into the top to let the steam escape while cooking. Bake for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake 20-25 more minutes until top is well browned.
