  1. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Butter - softened

  2. 1 cup 160g / 5.6oz Brown sugar - (packed)

  3. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Granulated sugar

  4. 2 cups 396g / 13oz Eggs (large)

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla extract

  6. 3 cups 187g / 6.6oz All-purpose flour

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Baking soda

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  9. 2 tablespoons 30ml Milk

  10. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Chopped macadamia nuts

  11. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Candied cherries

  12. 1 1/2 cups 165g / 5.8oz White chocolate chunks

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. In a medium bowl, with electric mixer, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until just combined. Set aside.

  3. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add milk to the butter mixture and then add the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

  4. In another bowl, combine nuts, cherries, and white chocolate. Then add to batter, stirring only to blend. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for approximately 11 to 13 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

  5. This recipe yields 4 dozen.
