  8. 1/2 c Butter

  9. 3 Eggs

  10. 1/4 c Sugar

  11. 1 ts Salt

  12. 2 c Raisins

  13. 1 Cake compressed yeast

  15. 5 c Flour

  16. Scald milk; cool to lukewarm and add remaining

  17. ingredients and mix well. Let rise until double in

  18. bulk. Drop into hot, deep fat by Tablespoonful and fry

  19. until brown. NOTE: These raisin fritters were

  20. especially made for New Year's Day. The name means

  21. tumbling over, since they turn over by themselves.

  22. 1/4 cup butter,

  23. 3 cups raisins

  24. and 1/4 cup water with yeast.
