  2. 1/4 ts Cream of tartar

  3. 1/2 c Sugar

  4. 1/2 ts Vanilla extract

  8. 350 degrees. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar at high speed of an electric mixer

  10. 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form and sugar dissolves (about 2 to 4 minutes). Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets lined with aluminum foil. Place in oven, and immediately turn off heat. Do not open oven door for at least
