  1. Wheat Flour Pudding (Panocha)

  2. 12 cups boiling water

  3. 1 pound panocha flour

  4. 2 cups flour

  5. 1 1/2 cups sugar

  6. 1/2 cup butter

  7. 1 pound brown sugar

  8. 1/4 teaspoon cloves

  9. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon Combine

  10. 5 cups boiling water, panocha flour, and flour in a large

  11. mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Cover bowl and set aside.

  12. Place sugar in a heavy pan. Stir sugar at low heat until it is

  13. liquid and light, golden brown. Add remaining water to sugar and bring mixture to a boil at high heat. Add butter, brown sugar,

  14. cloves and cinnamon to sugar mixture, and stir until sugar is

  15. dissolved.

  16. Combine sugar and flour mixtures in a large, greased, oven proof

  17. container. Boil mixture at medium high heat for 15 minutes, stirring

  18. constantly. Cover and bake panocha in a 400 F oven for approximately

  19. 1 1/2 hours, or until a pudding consistency has been reached.

  20. Chill before serving.
