  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil

  2. 8 chicken drumsticks

  3. 3 tablespoons flour

  4. 15 oz. can Italian style tomato sauce

  5. 4 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained

  6. 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves

  7. 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves

  8. 1 onion, chopped

  9. 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  10. 2 garlic cloves, minced

  11. 1/4 cup water

  12. 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

  1. In large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Meanwhile, sprinkle drumsticks with flour. Brown drumsticks in oil for 3-4 minutes until they begin to brown. Place drumsticks in slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients except water and cornstarch and mix to blend. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. In small bowl, combine water and cornstarch and blend well. Stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high 15-20 minutes longer until thickened.
