  1. 2 cups 292g / 10oz Dates pitted and chopped

  2. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Raisins - chopped

  3. 1/2 cup 118ml Sweet Passover wine

  4. 4 oz 113g Walnuts - ground (1/4 cup)

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground ginger

  1. Place dates and raisins in a bowl and blend with the wine. Add the walnuts and ginger and blend well. Shape into a pyramid.* Cover with plastic wrap and chill.

  2. Note: A couple of her charoset recipes call for this presentation. I've never seen it anyplace else. Is anyone familiar with it?
