  1. 1/2 lb elbow macaroni

  2. 3 T butter

  3. 3 T flour

  4. 3 c milk

  5. 1/2 onion , finely diced

  6. 2 c shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Cook macaroni according to directions. In sauce pan, saute onions in butter,& add flour. When flour is thoroughly mixed, add milk until it is bubbly. Add cheese, mix good. In large bowl, mix macaroni with cheese mixture. Transfer to 9x13 greased pan and bake 350 for 45 minutes with foil. Take foil off and cook another 10 minutes once you have added more cheese on top.
