  1. 1 1/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour

  2. 1/4 cup(s) confectioners' sugar

  3. 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  4. 1/2 cup(s) (1 stick) cold unsalted butter , cut into bits

  5. 1 large egg yolk

  6. 1 tablespoon(s) cold water , mixed with above egg yolk

  1. In a food processor, pulse flour, sugar, and salt to mix. Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles small peas.

  2. With the machine running, add yolk mixture through feed tube; process until dough forms a ball.

  3. Proceed with dough according to either our Peach Raspberry Tartlets recipe or our Double-Plum Almond Tart recipe.
