  1. 2 pounds Venison, cubed

  2. Bone & sinew removed)

  3. 4 tablespoons Cooking oil

  4. cup Flour

  5. 2 teaspoons Salt

  6. teaspoon White pepper

  7. teaspoon Rosemary

  8. 6 tablespoons Dried parsley

  9. 1 large Onion peeled & wedged

  10. 1 tablespoon Paprika

  11. 6 cups Hot water (to cover)

  12. 1 cup Peas

  13. Fresh)

  14. 1 cup Red wine

  1. Dredge meat in flour. Brown meat & onions in cooking oil. Add remaining ingredients except for peas & wine. Simmer for 1 hour allowing liquid to reduce to gravy. Add wine & simmer for 30 minutes.

  2. Add peas, simmer 5 minutes longer. Serve over French bread slices.
