  1. 2 c Sugar

  2. 1 tb Butter or butter substitute

  3. 1/2 c Blanched and roasted almonds

  4. 2 tb Marshmallow cream

  5. 1 ts Vanilla

  6. 1/2 c Chopped pecans

  7. 4 tb Grated unsweetened chocolate

  8. 24 Marshmallows

  9. 1 c Cream

  1. Combine chocolate and sugar.

  2. Add cream, and butter.

  3. Boil to soft ball stage (234 - 238 F).

  4. Remove from fire.

  5. Add marshmallow cream, nuts, and flavoring.

  6. Beat until mixture begins to thicken.

  7. Place marshmallows on well-buttered dish evenly.

  8. Pour mixture over them.

  9. Let cool, cut in squares with a sharp knife.
