  1. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Long-grain rice - uncooked

  2. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  3. 1/3 cup 20g / 0.7oz Onion - chopped

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Celery salt

  6. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Pepper

  7. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Garlic powder

  8. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ground beef

  9. 2 tablespoons 30ml Cooking oil

  10. 1 Can-

  11. 15 oz tomato sauce

  12. 1 cup 237ml Water

  13. 2 tablespoons 30ml Brown sugar

  14. 2 teaspoons 10ml Worcestershire sauce

  1. In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 in balls.

  2. In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; drain.

  3. Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs.

  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
