  8. 1/3 c Shortening

  9. 1/2 c Sugar

  10. 1 Egg

  11. 1 1/2 c Flour or cake flour

  12. 1 1/2 ts Baking powder

  13. 1/2 ts Salt

  14. 1/4 ts Nutmeg

  15. 1/2 c Milk

  16. --TOPPING--

  17. 3/4 c Sugar

  18. 1 1/2 ts Cinnamon

  19. 1/2 c Butter or margarine

  20. 1 stick

  21. -melted

  22. 350 degrees. Grease

  23. 15 medium muffin cups

  24. 2-3/4 in. diameter

  25. cup sugar, egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with the milk.

  26. 2/3 full. Bake

  27. 20-25 minutes.

  28. Topping: Mix 3/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon.

  29. Immediately after baking, roll puffs in melted butter,

  30. then in cinnamon-sugar mix.

  31. Serve hot. These are very light in texture. Great
