  1. 100 Dates dried

  2. 1 Juicy lemon (large)

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Water

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Cumin seed powder

  5. 5 tablespoons 75ml Dried mango powder - (amchoor)

  6. 6 tablespoons 90ml Sugar ground

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  1. Mix water and lemon juice.

  2. Sprinkle over dates. Toss lightly.

  3. Allow to marinate for 2-3 days.

  4. Drain, chop into pieces.

  5. Add all other ingredients, mix well.

  6. Sun-dry in a large non-metallic plate.

  7. Dry till all the moisture has evaporated.

  8. This takes approx.

  9. days of bright sun.

  10. Store pieces in airtight jar, and eat as a digestive after meals.
