  1. Belgian Coffee Cake (Pom Koek)

  2. 3 cups flour

  3. 1/2 cup sugar

  4. 1 t soda

  5. 1 t cinnamon

  6. 1/4 t cloves

  7. 1 t salt

  8. 1 cup honey

  9. 1 cup hot coffee

  10. 1 egg

  11. 1/3 cup oil

  12. Mix together dry ingredients. Combine honey, coffee, egg and oil.

  13. Mix wet and dry ingredients together, using a spoon. Butter a

  14. 9x4x2" pan and put a piece of waxed paper in bottom so the cake

  15. 350F for 30 minutes. You cannot see

  16. when it is done; use a tooth pick to see if center is done. Serve

  17. with butter, sliced thinly.
