  1. Grape-Nut Pudding

  2. 1 c grape-nuts

  3. 2 c milk, warmed

  4. 2 c half-and-half

  5. 4 eggs, beaten

  6. 1/2 c sugar

  7. 1/4 t salt

  8. 1 t vanilla

  9. 1 ground nutmeg for garnish

  10. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine all of the

  11. ingredients except the nutmeg. Pour into a greased 9-inch square

  12. baking pan, then sprinkle with nutmeg. Place the baking pan in a

  13. larger pan and add water to the larger pan, filling it halfway.

  14. Bake for 1 hour, until light golden and set. Let cool. Then serve.

  15. Serve with dollops of whipped cream.
