  1. Barbecue-style Tofu

  2. Yield: 4 servings

  3. 1 container extra firm tofu

  4. 1/3 cup olive oil

  5. 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

  6. 1 tablespoon paprika (smoked paprika is good, but use less)

  7. 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  8. 1/4 tsp black pepper

  9. 1 tsp salt

  10. Your favorite barbecue sauce, bottled or home made

  11. Remove tofu from carton and drain very well. Slice tofu into finger

  12. thick slices. Combine marinade ingredients well with whisk and coat

  13. tofu evenly and let stand at room temperature one hour. Lay tofu

  14. 400F for about minutes and carefully turn over and bake another 20 minutes, so

  15. each side is somewhat browned. Remove pan from oven, spread on your

  16. 5 to 10 minutes in the

  17. oven.
