  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Shrimp - (3-4 inch w/out heads)

  2. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Cayenne

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Black pepper

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Red chile pepper flakes

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Thyme

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Rosemary

  8. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Oregano

  9. 3 tablespoons 45ml Butter

  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Garlic - minced

  11. 1 teaspoon 5ml Worcestershire sauce

  12. 1/2 cup 118ml Beer - (room temperature)

  1. Shell, de-vein, and rinse shrimp. Grind seasonings in mortar and pestle.

  2. In large skillet over high heat, melt butter, add garlic, seasonings, and Worcestershire sauce.

  3. When bubbly, add shrimp. Cook 2 minutes, stirring and shaking the skillet.

  4. Add beer and cook 3 minutes. Remove shrimp and reduce sauce, adjusting seasoning.

  5. Serve shrimp over rice with sauce spooned over the top.
