  1. 2 Onions - sliced

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Vegetable oil

  3. 4 cups 250g / 8.8oz Chopped - cooked turkey or chicken

  4. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Whole wheat flour

  5. 2 cups 474ml Chicken stock or broth

  6. 2 cups 220g / 7.8oz Sliced steamed carrots

  7. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Diced tomato or canned peeled

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dried thyme

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dried rosemary

  10. 6 Potatoes - cooked, mashed

  1. Recipe Instructions In a large saucepan, saute the onions in the oil for 5 minutes. Add the turkey (or chicken). Sprinkle in the flour, stir to blend. Add the chicken stock, carrots, tomatoes, thyme, and rosemary. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Pour into a lightly oiled 3-quart casserole. Spread the potatoes over the top. Bake in a 375 F oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until browned.
