  1. 1- 5-6 pound cooked ham(rump half or shank portion)

  2. 24 whole cloves

  3. 1 recipe Orange Gloaze Fresh bay leaves, cranberries, orange slices and/or fresh rosemary sprigs Orange Glaze-

  4. 2 teaspoons finely shredded orange peel

  5. 1 cup orange juice

  6. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  7. 4 teaspoons cornstarch

  8. 1 1/2 teaspoons dry

  1. Preheat oven to 325. Score ham by making diagonal cuts in a diamond pattern. If desired, stud ham with cloves. Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Insert an ovenproof meat thermometer in center of ham so thermometer does not touch bone. Bake, uncovered, for 1.5-2.25 hours or until thermometer regiesters 140. Brush ham with some of the desired glaze during the last 20 minutes of baking. Serve with remaining glaze. Garnis with bay leaves, cranberries, orange slices, and/or fresh rosemary sprigs. Glaze- In a medium saucepan combine 2 teaspoons finely shredded orange peel, 1 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 4 teaspoons cornstarch, and 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Makes 1 1/4 cups glaze.
