  1. 1 pound confectioners' sugar

  2. 1/2 cup cocoa

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  4. 6 tablespoons butter or margarine

  5. 4 tablespoons milk

  6. 1 tablespoon vanilla

  7. 1 cup chopped nuts -- (walnuts or pecans)

  1. Preparation : Combine all ingredients except nuts in top of double boiler. Place over simmering water and stir until smooth. Add nuts. Spread candy quickly into buttered 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Cool, cut into squares. Instead of buttered pan, line pan with wax paper for easier cutting.
