  1. Directions If you were looking for homemade pancake recipes from scratch, this is how it's done. Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, first whisk the egg and then pour the buttermilk into it. Whisk this mixture into the flour, and add in the the melted butter. Whisk till you have a smooth batter. Melt a little butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Then pour in about ¼ cup of pancake batter into the griddle. When one side turns golden brown, flip it over and brown the other side.

  2. Blueberry Pancakes Recipe Ingredients 3 eggs 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup fresh/thawed/drained frozen blueberries (about 8 per pancake)

  3. tbsp baking powder 1 cup whole milk 1 tsp salt 1 stick butter or margarine, melted and cooled 1 cup sugar Vegetable oil or butter, for cooking Directions Mix together the baking powder, flour, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and then add them to the flour mixture. Slowly whisk in the butter and cup of milk, and continue to mix till you have a smooth batter. The consistency you need is slightly thicker than heavy cream, so add additional flour or milk to get it to that. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat, and melt a little butter in it. Ladle about 3 tablespoons of pancake batter onto the griddle. If your pan is big enough, and you think you can manage it, you can cook more than one pancake at a time. Onto each pancake, go 7 or 8 blueberries . Let the pancakes cook, and when you see bubbles forming on the surface, then flip them over, and continue cooking for about 3 more minutes, or until that side turns golden too. Transfer to plate and serve.

Pour about a quarter cup of batter into the pan or griddle, and cook till both sides turn golden brown. Serve.
