  1. 3/4 c Sugar

  2. 1 c Light Corn Syrup

  3. 3 tb Butter or Regular Margarine

  4. 1 ts Vanilla

  5. 1 Unbaked 9-inch Pie Shell

  6. 1/2 ts Salt

  7. 3 oz Baking Chocolate,Melt and Cool

  8. 3 Eggs; Lg

  9. 1 c Pecans; Chopped

  1. Combine the sugar, slat, corn syrup, cooled chocolate, melted butter, eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Beat until well blended, using an electric mixer set to medium speed. Stir in the pecans and turn into the unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 375 degree F. oven for 35 minutes or until set. (Pie will be puffy when it comes out of the oven and will sink while cooling.)
