  3. Heat the butter in a deep skillet. Swirl in the garlic puree. Add the rice and pine nuts. Saut, stirring and tossing, until the rice is heated through and has absorbed the butter. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve hot. --

  8. 1-1/2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons white onions, chopped 1 cups white rice 1-1/2 cups water, hot 2 each bouillon cubes, chicken 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 each bay leaf Melt butter in a pot that has a tight fitting lid and add the onions for about 5 minutes until tender but not browned. Stir in the rice and stir to coat the rice with butter. Once coated, add the hot water, bouillon cubes, pepper and the bay leaf and bring to a boil.

  12. Cherry Good Cobbler Ingredients :

  13. 2x 21-ounce cans cherry filling and topping 1 teaspoon almond extract 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup orange juice TOPPING 1 tablespoon slivered almonds -- coarsely chopped 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 teaspoon grated orange peel 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Combine cherry filling and almond extract in an ungreased 8 × 8 × 2-inch baking pan.

  14. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Add orange juice, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls over cherry filling, making at least 8 dumplings.

  15. For the topping: Combine almonds, sugar, orange peel and cinnamon in a small bowl; mix well. Sprinkle on top of cobbler.

  16. Bake in a preheated 350º oven 30 to 35 minutes, or until filling is bubbly and dumplings are brown. --
