  1. 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained

  2. 2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans beef broth

  3. 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained

  4. 1 1/2 cups homestyle salsa

  5. 1 (7-ounce) can diced green chiles

  6. 1 cup small dry shell pasta

  7. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  8. 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  9. 2 teaspoons chili powder Shredded cheddar cheese for accompaniment

  1. Combine beef, broth, tomatoes with juice, salsa, chiles, pasta, onion, garlic and chiles powder in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook 12 to 15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Garnish with cheese.
