  8. Sausage

  9. 2 tb Finely chopped onion

  10. 6 tb All-purpose flour

  11. 1 qt Milk

  12. 1/2 ts Poultry seasoning

  13. 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg

  14. 1/4 ts Salt

  15. Dash Worcestershire sauce

  16. Dash hot pepper sauce

  17. Crumble sausage into a large saucepan; cook over

  18. medium-low heat. Add onion; cook and stir until

  19. transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 tablespoons

  20. of drippings. Stir in flour; cook over medium-low

  21. heat about 6 minutes or until mixture bubbles and turns golden. Stir in milk. Add seasonings; cook,

  22. stirring, until thickened.

  23. Serve over biscuits or over chicken fried steak.
